Tip of the Day #1
With summer quickly approaching we know that Orlando can make for a very sweaty vacation. So what to do when you are at the Magic Kingdom and need a nice break? Perhaps you can stop for a bite to eat at one of the many concession stands. But that would mean spending even more money to sit in a very crowded and loud room while your children beg to go on the next ride. Or you can do what we do and visit the Carousel of Progress. I will warn you in advance that it is not the most exciting ride in the parks. But it is 20 minutes in a comfy seat in AIR CONDITIONING. A rare find in the Disney Parks. There is never a wait to get on this ride and you will find it a nice break to get off of your feet before tackling the next few rides. It is located in tomorrowland between Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. It is also a great way to kill time until your fast pass allotted time on Space Mountain, but remember that the ride is 20 minutes so plan accordingly.
Intro
So my fiance and I were Disney Annual Pass holders for several years and have now chosen to share the knowledge we collected over the years with you. Some of the information you will be able to find here in the future include:
-how to find all those popular and not so popular disney characters for meet and greets
-ride reviews
-food reviews
-special event reviews
-and I would be happy to answer any questions that you guys bring up.
Feel free to visit our webshots albums where you can see the hundreds of disney character pictures at http://community.webshots.com/user/lhuntdorta?vhost=community
Follow my blog to get important updates about new characters and when they are most likely to be out.
The first year we got annual passes our goal was to ride every ride. This challange actually only took us a few visits to accomplish so we can now officially say we have ridden every ride in the four Walt Disney Theme Parks: Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and of course Magic Kingdom. So look forward to tips about wait times, fast passes, and age appropriate rides.
